Antipodium Pop Shop.
"Confident simplicity, subverted classics and a hint of kink." - ANTIPODIUM Creative Director Geoffrey J. Finch
(Antipodium creator and Cott local Ashe Peacock.)
In case you didn't already have enough reasons to be shopping this week we have one more to add to your list, the CBD ANTIPODIUM POP UP STORE! The iconic Australian brand has popped up in King Street and brought a bit of international glamour to Perth with its 2014 resort collection; Teddy Boys' Picnic (with the gorgeous prints by Russell Maurice exclusively for Antipodium.) which has become a favourite from New York to Tokyo and London. Lucky for us Perth girls one of the masterminds behind the brand; Ashe Peacock has now brought Antipodium back to her home town. The lovely Ashe took a moment to sit down with The Boyfriend Shirt to chat about Antipodium while she was unpacking the new collection in the King Street store.
(Cry Baby Dress.)
(That collar! Rachel Cook of Cicardia looking insane in this dress!)
When describing the brand, Ashe spoke of an understated sexiness and beauty that portrays a refined feminine style in the clothing. With nothing quite like it offered in Perth, the flowing shirt dresses with a nipped in waist are ideal for our warm summer days.
(Hatchet dress and Straight Edge Dress being unpacked after being shipped from London especially for all you Perth babes.)
If you just can't wait until you get a second to visit the pop up store, definitely have a sneaky look at the online store here, with fashion week shows from London being live streamed and jaw-dropping collections you just can't go wrong.
(Adore the zip detail on the Woody Pencil Skirt.)
You know you're onto something good when the top fashionistas of the world are wearing the same label. The fact that 'it' girl and universal girl crush Alexa Chung has Antipoidum on her wish list suggests the Australian Label is a necessity in every girl's wardrobe and you NEED to check out the King St store.
(This. Jacket. Is. Insane.)
The Antipodium Pop Shop is open on King St, Perth until December 27th but we have our fingers crossed they will stick around a little longer.
Once you have compiled your wish lists head in store to meet the babes there and don't forget to mention The Boyfriend Shirt when you are in store to get a sweet 10% discount especially for our readers! x
(Loving the contrast in these textures.)
(Russell Maurice's exclusive collaboration with Antipodium.)
(A little birdie told us these beauties may be on sale soon ;) shhhh. x)
(Not going to lie, there was some excited squealing as we got to see the stock being unpacked.)
(Look at these beautiful details!!)
(I dare you NOT to be happy wearing this print. It is impossible.)
(I will be a sucker for accordion pleats until the day I die.)
